A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for parts of our region.
Belleville, Quinte West and Eastern Northumberland County are all under a severe thunderstorm watch and could see the development of thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening.
Environment Canada says there could be wind gusts up to 100 km/h as well as nickel sized hail.
The storm path looks to be tracking through parts of Eastern Ontario through to Brockville, Cornwall and Ottawa.
