Lennox and Addington OPP are asking for the public’s help to identify the victim of a fatal collision in the Belleville area on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020.
On Sunday police responded to reports of a man walking on the 401 heading east towards Highway 37.
The man was struck a short time later on the roadway by a transport truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
He was not carrying any identification and investigators have not been able to determine his identity. It is possible the individual was transient and had been travelling through the area.
The man is described as approximately 5’10, 132 lbs with short dark hair and a triangle tattoo on his inner right forearm.
