There is some bad news for local beer lovers.
The Hops on the Water beer festival, scheduled for the Quinte West Farmer’s Market, has been officially cancelled.
Organizers say the decision keeps in line with the provincial regulations to limit gatherings to 100 people or less.
If you have already bought tickets, you can get a refund at the original point of purchase, or through the Empire Theatre in Belleville as long as you contact them by August 31.
