The City of Belleville’s Integrity Commissioner has been and continues to be a busy man.
On Monday, city council will see a wrap up report from Integrity Commissioner Tony Fleming of the law firm Cunningham Swan.
The Commissioner received eight requests for advice from four different councillors last year into early this year.
Of the eight requests, the Commissioner has written three full reports, with one not deemed not worthy of a review and one withdrawn.
Three other requests are still under review. All requests had to do with Code of Conduct of Conflict of Interest.
Those involved in written reports have been Mayor Mitch Panciuk and Councillor Ryan Williams.
Exact costs to pay for the Commissioner’s services aren’t known but are estimated at over $60,000.
