OPP will continue an investigation today after reports of a man going overboard from the Wolfe Island Ferry last night.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton, OPP Marine Unit and fire departments from Kingston and Howe Island all helped in the search, around 7:30 p.m. after the man reportedly went into the water while the ferry was on its way to the island.
Searchers have yet to find the man and his identity hasn’t been confirmed, but crews will be back in the water today to continue looking.
Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to contact OPP.
