A proposal to build a five-storey hotel on Millennium Parkway in Belleville will be back up for discussion at a meeting of Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee tomorrow (Tuesday).
If finally approved, the hotel would be built on property beside Hastings-Quinte Paramedic Services near the intersection with Cloverleaf Drive.
Some residents of Cloverleaf Drive have objected to the hotel due to concerns about lower property values, increased traffic, and noise.
Tomorrow’s meeting will allow for more public input on the issue and a decision recommendation will come back at a future meeting.
