Belleville Police dealt with 62 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. yesterday and 5:00 this morning.
Among those, a 34-year-old man was picked up on an outstanding drug trafficking warrant in the north end of the city around 6:30 yesterday morning and the 28-year-old woman he was with was also arrested in connection to an outstanding mischief investigation.
Then at 11:30, a vehicle was taken from a west end home without the owner’s permission. The 31-year-old driving that car was tracked down and charged with driving while prohibited and breaching an undertaking.
And a 59-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting at Canadian Tire on Bell Boulevard, around 7:00 p.m.
The prohibited driver was held in custody, while all of the other suspects were released with conditions.
