A spin-off charity from the Rick Meagher-Medigas Charity Golf Tournament has made a generous donation to help pay for the creation of a fully accessible playground at Parkdale Park, the home of the Field of Ability in Belleville.
The charity, organized through Medigas, now known as “Our Kids,” has donated $75,000 toward the cost of the playground which will be finished sometime this fall.
The new playground will feature a rubberized surface and offer play equipment suitable for any child.
