Fire destroyed a small barn in Stirling-Rawdon yesterday morning (Monday).
Flames were reported around 9 o’clock at the farm at 244 Rylstone Road not far south of Marmora.
The barn held sheep and most of the flock escaped injury but a handful of animals perished in the blaze.
There were no other injuries.
The Stirling-Rawdon department was assisted by Marmora and Lake and Centre Hastings firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
