The provincial government is investing over $16 million in a popular ferry.
Hastings – Lennox and Addington MPP Daryl Kramp, along with Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark announced the funding to allow for year round service on the Wolfe Island ferry to Marysville.
The project will see parts of the channel lowered to allow for a new and larger Wolfe Island ferry.
The province is currently developing the first regional transportation plan for Eastern Ontario, slated to be released in 2021.
