Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee will make decisions on several development proposals at its meeting today (Monday).
Planning staff is recommending the committee allow rezoning of land along Highway 62 south of Old Madoc Road to allow a gas bar, convenience store and restaurant.
Rezoning is also recommended by staff to allow the owner of a farm to operate a small craft brewery or distillery on Mitchell Road.
Also staff recommends the committee approve rezoning to allow a new and larger Quinte Business Centre to be built just south of its current location at Loyalist College.
City council will make the final decision on all recommendations.
