Belleville Police had a busy 24 hours, responding to 78 calls for service between 5:00 a.m. yesterday and 5:00 a.m this morning.
Those calls included numerous noise complaints, disturbances, domestic incidents, suspicious person and animal complaints, along with calls to help out local paramedics.
Officers also arrested a 28-year-old woman for breaching release conditions, after being called to a report of a suspicious person on Dundas Street West.
BPS officers were also called to a pair of car crashes, about half an hour apart, yesterday afternoon.
The first happened around 4:25 p.m. on North Front Street, where two cars were involved and police say there were no injuries.
That crash is still under investigation.
Then at about 5:05 p.m., there was another two-vehicle crash nera St. Paul Street, with both cars being damaged and one of the drivers suffering minor injuriers.
The at fault driver was charged with disobeying a stop sign.
