A Belleville woman is serving one month in jail on a drug charge after an incident in the west end of the city last summer.
City police arrested Danille Stapely after a short foot chase on Catherine Street last August.
She was 31 years of age at the time she was charged.
When police spotted her she was thought to be breaching bail conditions.
Stapely was also sentenced to 12 months of probation. Some charges against her were withdrawn.
