Quinte Home Builders’ Association shows “truckloads of support” for frontline health workers

Close to 40 cars, trucks and construction vehicles paraded past Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday afternoon as members of the Quinte Home Builders’ Association showed their support for frontline workers.

QHBA Executive Director Ruth Estwick tells Quinte News representatives from the association member companies felt it was important to let healthcare staff know that their work during the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t going unnoticed.

Belleville General Hospital Foundation Executive Director Steve Cook says the community support is always incredible, but even more so during these unprecedented times.

Cook added that, along with the act of support, those donations from QHBA members are extremely appreciated given the current business climate.

The QHBA is planning similar rallies in Trenton and Picton on the next two Tuesdays as well.
