A pair of graduating Quinte Red Devil Minor Midget players have committed to their new Ontario Hockey League clubs.
Defenceman Donovan McCoy and forward Dalyn Wakely signed their standard player agreements on Monday.
A Belleville native, McCoy had six goals and 29 assists in 35 games and signed with the Peterborough Petes, who selected him with the 15th overall pick in the priority selection.
Port Hope’s Wakely had 30 goals and 42 assists in 36 regular season games with Quinte and signed with the North Bay Battalion, who picked him early in the second round, at 30th overall.
