Bancroft OPP are investigating a robbery that took place last Saturday.
Police say shortly before 4 p.m., officers received a call about a man who had been assaulted and cash taken.
A 27-year-old from Bancroft was arrested following an investigation and charged with robbery with theft, two counts of failure to comply with a probation order and failure to comply with an undertaking and possession of suspected methamphetamine.
The suspect was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
