UPDATE: Tweed fire
A 33-year-old Belleville resident is facing charges following a fire in Tweed on Sunday afternoon.
Central Hastings OPP have charged one person with arson, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and failure to comply with a recognizance.
He was arrested by Belleville Police on Monday.
Firefighters from Tweed and Belleville spent nine hours at a home on Sulphide Road battling the blaze.
No one was injured.
The accused attended a bail hearing in Belleville on Monday.
Police are not releasing names to protect the identity of the victims.
