A 38-year-old woman from Trenton has been charged after a shoplifting incident on Tuesday.
Quinte West OPP were called to a retail store on Dundas Street East where a woman had been accused of shoplifting and provided police with a fake name as well.
Carrie Sharpe is charged with theft under $5,000 and obstructing police.
She was released on conditions and will appear in court on February 20.
