The Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre will be hosting close to 400 athletes this weekend as the Belleville Beast Swim Club holds its 8th annual meet in the city.
Swimmers will be coming from Oshawa, Clarington, Cornwall, Ottawa and Amherstview to take part in a series of individual events, earning points toward an overall team championship.
Individual awards will also be handed out to the swimmers who earn the highest number of points in each age and gender group.
Races will be taking place all weekend and members of the public are encouraged to stop by the QSWC to check out the action and support our local athletes.
