Belleville’s first new resident of 2020 arrived in the city, and the new decade, shortly after midnight, New Year’s Day.
Alayna Jane Mullett was born at 1:03 a.m. New Year’s Day, at Belleville General Hospital.
She is the daughter of Tianna Hopkin and Adam Mullett.
The couple had arrived at the hospital’s maternity ward earlier on New Year’s Eve afternoon, to await the birth.
Termed a healthy baby, Alayna weighed in at seven pounds,15 ounces.
