With one month to go this year, the real estate market continues to be showing a strong upward trend.
The Quinte and District Association of Realtors released their November numbers and all indicators point to another strong year.
President Cathy Polan says 180 homes were sold last month, which is up 7.1% over 2018 and the price of those homes averaged $395,580, also up 10.1% over last year.
The 2019 year-to-date residential number was $1.05 billion resulting in a 16.2% increase over the previous year. The last time residential real estate sales in the Quinte region topped $1 billion was December 2017.
