Car dealer sales team supports Hospice Quinte

The sales team at a Trenton car dealership showed their hearts for Hospice Quinte this fall.

The team at Lange and Fetter Motors raised an undisclosed amount in its “12 Months Giving Campaign” for the Hospice “Heart and Home Building Campaign.”

Throughout the month of October, each member of the dealership sales team made a personal donation, for each vehicle sold, which was then matched by the management team.

Donations from patrons were also included in the overall total.

In a statement released Monday, Communication and Outreach Coordinator for Hospice Quinte Lisa McMurter stated, “We are honoured to have been selected by Lange & Fetter’s sales team to receive their support.  Building the Hospice Quinte Care Centre is incredibly important to our community and having the opportunity to share our message with the sales team and their patrons has been an invaluable contribution to our campaign.”

All of the funds raised from the Heart & Home Building Campaign will fund the construction of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre, a six-bed hospice palliative care centre, where professional care will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no cost to the patient or their family.  Launched in May of this year, the Heart & Home Building Campaign has received a tremendous response and financial support from local government, businesses, service clubs, organizations, foundations and individuals from across Quinte.
