Someone caused quite a stir around downtown Belleville’s Market Square in the supper hour yesterday.
City police report someone called a business near the Market Square saying a bomb had been planted in a garbage container nearby and it was set to explode.
Officers searched the entire area and nothing was found.
An investigation continues with video footage available and Belleville police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Quinte Crime Stoppers.
