The deadline has passed, and the fates of two major buildings in Belleville’s downtown area are now being considered.
They are Memorial Arena and the Royal Canadian Legion building.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk tells Quinte News the city has received “a number of offers.”
Panciuk says the city is “working through the process to consider each of them, but because it is a property matter” they are being dealt with in closed
session.
It is expected the public will have an opportunity in the future to see proposals being considered by city council.
