Many children in the Greater Napanee area attended camp this summer thanks to last year’s fundraising campaign by the Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington
The Tree of Hope raised $70,000.
This allowed 142 children, from the Napanee to Kingston area, to enjoy summer fun at a total of 18 camps.
Most of them were between the ages of six and twelve.
It set a new record for the program.
The 2019 Tree of Hope, which will be launched in November, also helps pay for clothing, personal items, travel and recreation all year round.
