Loyalist College is partnering with the University of Toronto Scarborough to expand educational opportunities for its students.
The two institutions have entered into a memorandum of understanding for students in the General Arts and Science diploma program to continue through the College to University Pathway, or the Redirect Pathway streams.
The College to University Pathway would allow students to transition seamlessly and continue studies towards an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with advanced standing, while the Redirect Pathway would help out students who didn’t meet the admission requirements for the U of T program the first time around.
Loyalist President Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan says the agreement will help students save time and money by starting their degree program in Belleville and finishing in Toronto.
