Hospice Quinte staff are elated at the results from their annual Hike for Hospice.
The event was held on Saturday in Centennial Park and participants raised over $7,300.
Executive Director Jennifer May-Anderson says all of the funds raised will be used to ensure that friends, relatives and neighbours can continue to receive the professional end-of-life and bereavement support services Hospice Quinte provides.
Hospice Quinte serves a region that includes Quinte West, Belleville, Deseronto, Tyendinaga Township and Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory and provided over 5,000 hours of hospice palliative care support last year.
