Councillors approved the motion at their Committee of the Whole meeting on Thursday at Shire Hall.
Councillor and farmer Phil Prinzen told those in council chambers this has been a long time coming but he wanted to thank staff for their work in getting this initiative going in The County.
The civic address signs will have a cost of $55 each.
The by-law will be up for final approval on September 24.
