Belleville Police Service responded to 59 calls for service from September 13, 2019 at 5:00 a.m. to September 14, 2019 at 5:00 a.m.
Belleville Police were called to the west end of the city during the early morning hours after a report of a suspicious male in the area.
When officers arrived, they located a 34-year-old Belleville man passed out on the sidewalk.
Police say the man was heavily intoxicated and was arrested for his own safety.
The man was later released once able to care for himself.
He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
