Last (Saturday) evening, Belleville Police responded to an east end pharmacy regarding a man attempting to pass a fraudulent prescription.
Around 5 p.m., the man returned to the store and was arrested.
Twenty-one-year-old Yoel Mengis of Toronto was charged with using a forged document and fraud.
He was released with an October court date.
