The Trenton Golden Hawks were in action last night at home to the Collingwood Colts.
The Hawks fell behind 2-0 early on in the first period. Trenton managed to fight back and grab a 3-2 lead heading into the third period, but then allowed three unanswered goals to drop their first game of the season, 5-3.
Newcomer Ryan Brown registered a goal and an assist for the Hawks, while Aaron Jameson and Wyatt George scored the other two tallies.
Anand Oberoi made 28 saves on 33 shots in the loss.
The good news for the Hawks is that they are back at home Sunday against the Lindsay Muskies at 7:30.
