A New York man will appear in Peterborough court to face a stunt driving charge according to Peterborough OPP.
Officers were conducting radar patrol on Highway 7 in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township on September 2 around 2 p.m.
Japheth Ozaeta of Flushing New York was pulled over for travelling 142 km/h in a posted 80 km/h.
Police also noted there were nine people in the vehicle at the time.
The 26-year-old had his licence suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded.
Ozaeta will appear in court in November.
