Quinte West OPP are asking anyone with information to come forward in regards to the ongoing boat explosion in Trenton during the long weekend.
On August 28 around 12:30 p.m., a boat exploded at the Fraser Park Marina fueling station sending five people to hospital, including a father and his five-year-old daughter who were taken to Kingston General Hospital.
The older wooden 34-foot boat was pulled out of the water on Monday morning.
Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office, along with the OPP and the ministries of Environment and Labour, were on scene Monday as an investigation into the incident continues.
