A 58-year-old Loyalist Township man is facing assault charges following a disturbance at a campsite in Greater Napanee.
On September 2, Lennox and Addington OPP officers responded just after midnight to the County Road 8 campground following an argument between people at two different camp sites.
The argument escalated and Darcy Kerry Proulx allegedly smashed a glass object over the heads of a 26-year-old female and a 30-year-old male.
Both were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Proulx was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and was held in custody for a bail hearing on September 3.
