Two local youths have been charged in connection with the theft of a four wheeler an hour northeast of Belleville.
Leeds OPP report a 17-year-old man from Quinte West and a 17-year-old Belleville man are both facing theft of a motor vehicle over $5,000 and theft under $5,000 charges.
The Quinte West youth is also facing assault charges while the Belleville youth is facing uttering threats to cause bodily harm charges.
Police say on August 22 just before 10:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of two men stealing things from local businesses in the Lyndhurst area.
The suspects attempted to leave on a stolen four wheeler, prior to it stalling.
The investigation is ongoing.
