More charges have been laid by the OPP in an investigation we first told you about on Saturday.
Bancroft OPP’s Street Crime Unit, Centre Hastings and Quinte West OPP, the Emergency Response Team and Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Woodview Lane as well as a vehicle last week.
Seven people were charged as a result and additional charges have been laid.
Officers seized a quantity of illegal drugs (Crystal Meth), prescribed drugs (Percoset), other illegal drugs and drug trafficking paraphernalia, cell phones, firearms with ammunition, an imitation gun and explosive devices.
Justin Sleeper, 26, of Bancroft is facing:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I (Methamphetamine, morphine, codeine, and cocaine) – four counts
- Unauthorized Possession of a firearm – two counts
- Careless Storage of a firearm – two counts
- Possession of a loaded Prohibited firearm
- Possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition readily available
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose – three counts
- Possession of explosives with intent to endanger life
- Break and enter-steal a firearm
- Trafficking a firearm
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime
- Fail to Comply with his Recognizance -three counts
Cody Sleeper, 20, of Bancroft is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I (Methamphetamine, morphine, codeine, and cocaine) – four counts
- Unauthorized Possession of a firearm – two counts

Richard Bowran, 54, of Bancroft has been charged with:

- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition readily available
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts
- Careless storage of a firearm – two counts
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose – three counts
- Possession of a substance with intent to endanger life
- Possession of a firearm while on prohibition
Lacey King, 30, of Bancroft is facing charges of:
- Possession for purpose of trafficking Schedule I (methamphetamine)
- Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition readily available
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm – two counts
- Careless storage of a firearm – two counts

Rosealie Barens, 23, of Faraday Township is charged with:
- Possession for purpose of trafficking Schedule I (methamphetamine)
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition readily available
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm -two counts
- Careless storage of a firearm – two counts
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose – three counts
- Possession of a substance with intent to endanger life
Shayne Menard, 49, of Faraday Township is facing areas of:
- Possession for purpose of trafficking Schedule I (methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine, Codeine) – four counts
- Fail to comply with an undertaking
- Fail to comply with probation order – two counts
Amanda Hudson, 30, of Bancroft is charged with:
- Possession for purpose of trafficking Schedule I (methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine, Codeine) – four counts
Bowran was released on a promise to appear and the other six accused were held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
The investigation is ongoing.
