It’s now official – the city of Belleville will accept proposals for development of Memorial Arena unrelated to ice operations.
Council decided to take this step Monday night after learning no proposals for a rink at Memorial had come forward.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk tells Quinte News the historical history of the building will be maintained.
The 60-day period allowed for ice related proposals ended July 27.
City staff reported there were no submissions.
