Over 1,600 Hydro One customers are expected to have power back soon.
An equipment failure is to blame for those residents in Percy, Campbellford, Stirling-Rawdon and Seymour being without power at this hour.
The outage began around 11:20 but crews are on site making repairs.
Power is estimated to be restored by 2:30 p.m.
