A report of a suspicious woman has led to an arrest in Belleville.
City police were called to the James Street area around 3:30 this morning and found that the woman was wanted on a warrant for breaching probation.
Officers also say they found a small amount of methamphetamine during a search of her purse.
Thirty-four-year-old Ashley Whiteside, of Belleville, is charged with drug possession and breaching probation.
She’ll be in court in September.
