Ontario’s NDP leader Andrea Horvath was a guest today (Wednesday) on the Lorne Brooker Show.
She discussed the economy, education and health care.
Horvath says she fears things are going to get worse for people before they get better when it comes to health care.
She says when people are going to the emergency room to get a prescription filled, that is putting undo pressure on emergency rooms, especially with the cuts coming from the current government.
Horvath discussed the economy and recent changes that have been made and how those changes will affect us now and into the future.
She says the PC’s claim that the deficit is down is false and is actually $5 billion over what the Liberals had planned for this year and continued on to say the Premier has cut off revenue streams, cutting off billions of dollars in revenue for the province and cutting services to the bone.
Horvath said people were tired and frustrated with the last government because everyday families struggled and now Premier Doug Ford is doing the same thing.
