Belleville firefighters made quick work of a fire at an abandoned building this (Friday) afternoon.
Reports of smoke coming from the former Trudeau Motors building came from a passerby just before 5:00 p.m.
Firefighters quickly located flames on the lower level of the building and had the blaze under control around 5:10 p.m.
Another fire about 30 feet from the first was reported shortly after, but was also quickly controlled.
Belleville Police were called in to control traffic, with firefighters still on scene ventilating the building after 6:00 p.m.
Fire Prevention Officers looked into the cause and consider it to be suspicious.
