Residents around Oak Lake will get an update later this month on the progress of an ongoing water quality study.
The study was ordered about a year ago, after residents voiced concerns about smelly water, poor outflows and low oxygen levels in the lake.
Director of Public Works Chris Angelo says it’s crucial that those residents attend the meeting, with a lot of relevant information set to be presented, including how to improve the water quality.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday July 30, at the Batawa Community Centre and will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
