A fire at Hawkins Cheezies remains under investigation according to the Belleville Fire Department.
Senior Fire Prevention Officer John Lake says the call came in around 12:15 on Tuesday afternoon for a fire in one of the deep fryers.
Firefighters from Stations 1 and 2 responded and found smoke and flames coming from the roof.
Crews extinguished the fire in the ducting and fan and the blaze was under control 30 minutes after the call came in.
Firefighters had cleared the scene by 3 p.m.
There were no injuries to staff or firefighters.
Damage was minimal and limited to the fryer and the materials in the immediate area.

This is the second industrial cooking operation fire in two days for Belleville Fire.
