Quinte West OPP are investigating an armed robbery which they say occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police responded to a business on Sidney Street in Quinte West at about 2 a.m.
The canine unit and ERT team tracked the suspect, but were unsuccessful in locating the person who was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
The person is described as a Caucasian male, about 30 to 40 years of age, approximately 5′ 7″ tall, with a shaved head.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with Crooks written on back and Castles and symbol on front, and had tattoos on both forearms and the right side of the neck.
Police say the person of interest was unsuccessful and left the scene empty handed.
The Quinte West OPP crime unit is currently investigating the robbery and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the person responsible.
