A road rage incident has led to a Campbellford resident facing multiple charges according to Central Hastings OPP.
On Saturday, just before 6 p.m., officers responded to a road rage incident that started on Hwy. 7 in Marmora and Lake.
Police say an eastbound pickup truck passed another vehicle driving erratically and struck the passing vehicle causing minor damages. The driver was followed into the McDonald’s parking lot in Madoc where a verbal altercation took place.
The driver, 48-year-old Leslie Kota, was located on Russell Street in Centre Hastings and was charged with impaired operation, careless driving and driving with an unsealed container of liquor.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven.
He will appear in Belleville court on June 13.
