Three people have been arrested and charged after police were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle last week.
Quinte West OPP responded to Monogram Place, around 10:30 a.m. last Thursday (May 23) and found four people in the car, including a minor, who had to be taken by ambulance to hospital, for a suspected drug overdose.
Police arrested the other three men in the car, 27-year-old Reginald Conley, 21-year-old Dorean Geertsma and 19-year-old Tyler Russell, all of Quinte West and charged them with weapons dangerous, possession of a prohibited weapon and drug trafficking.
Conley faces an additional charge of possessing a weapon while prohibited, Geertsma was also charged with the same offence, as well as two counts of breaching probation and Russell was charged with two counts of breaching probation as well.
A 31-year-old Quinte West man is facing dangerous weapons charges according to Quinte West OPP.
Police say on May 23, around 12:30 p.m., officers observed a man yelling and causing a disturbance on Catherine Street in Trenton. He was also holding a weapon in his hand according to police.
Shanye James Joseph Desormo is facing charges of dangerous weapons and failing to comply with a probation order.
He appeared in court on May 24.
