Belleville Police are on the scene at a home near Belleville’s downtown core Friday afternoon.
Calls to Quinte News reported a police presence outside a home on Coleman Street, near Jane Street, around 2:00 p.m.
Belleville Police Staff Sergeant Al Portt tells Quinte News there was a “sudden death in one of the units and investigators will likely be on scene for a while.”
There’s no word on whether or not the death is considered suspicious.
Police are called anytime someone dies outside a hospital or medical facility.
