Alnwick/Haldimand Council has filled a recent vacancy, left by the passing of Councillor Raymond Benns back in March.
Council has appointed Greg Booth of Community Centre Road after reviewing presentations from seven potential candidates, which councillors called “outstanding”.
Booth will be sworn in at a the regular council meeting on June 6.
