Council in Prince Edward County are a step closer in their work to find a new Chief Administrative Officer.
Councillors voted to elect four members to the Interview Selection Committee for the Recruitment of a new CAO.
Mayor Steve Ferguson and councillors Janice Maynard, Bill Roberts, Stewart Bailey and Brad Nieman will make up part of the committee.
Mayor Ferguson says their next task will involve finding a recruiting firm.
He expects once the committee has chosen their top recruiting firm, that decision will come forward to council for final approval.
Robert McAuley has been Acting CAO in Prince Edward County since April following the departure of James Hepburn.
