David Walcott is asking council in Prince Edward County to explore the immediate development of Picton Harbour at their committee of the whole meeting tomorrow (Thursday).
Walcott is speaking on behalf of the Picton Harbour Development group, which wants to see the area developed to its full potential.
In a presentation to council at Shire Hall, he will speak to why now is the right time and the group’s vision which includes a waterfront public park, increased marina capacity, a pedestrian connection to Main Street and an active and publicly accessible harbour.
Council meets at Shire Hall at 1 p.m.
